Yes, campers receive mail each day at dinner time. If a camper receives a package or three letters, they get to sing for it (with other campers)! This is very important for a camper's experience at camp. It is best to send packages AT LEAST FOUR DAYS BEFORE camp starts, as there can be mail delays (please do not send gum; it is not allowed in the National Forest).
Please address mail as follows:
Ghormley Meadow Christian Camp
Camper Name; Camper Session
640 Lost Lake Rd
Naches, WA 98937
Do not send faxes! To send your camper an e-mail, please look for the "E-mail Your Camper" link on the left side of the screen (or at the bottom for mobile users). We treat e-mails the same as regular mail. All e-mails received before 5 PM will be delivered at dinner. Any e-mails received in the evening will be delivered the next day. We will not be able to give camper emails received after 8am on the last day.
For Leap! and Waterski Campers: We will not be able to deliver sent letters/packages to Leap! or Waterski Campers during their session of camp, as these are off-site camps. If you would like to give your Leap! or Waterski camper mail, please give to the office or the Leap! or Waterski Director on registration day.
*Please be aware that
camper mail sent near the end of a camp session runs the risk of being delivered
to us after your child has gone home. We recommend either dropping
letters off at our office at the beginning of camp (saves postage too!)
or not sending anything with less than three days of camp remaining,
especially if you live outside the Yakima area.*
