Non-Refundable Deposit: In order to register for a session of camp, you must pay a $50.00 deposit. This is non-refundable, with the exception of extreme cases such as a death in the family that prevents your child from attending camp. This may be transferred to another camp session if something such as an illness arises that prevents your child from attending camp.
Camp for Christmas Discount: In order to qualify for the Camp for Christmas discount, you must pay ONE HALF of the base camp fee prior to the stated deadline. You do not have to pay for additional things such as camp store money, camp dvd, etc. in order to receive the discount. The Camp for Christmas discount and the Early Registration Discount may not be combined.
Early Registration Discount: In order to qualify for the early registration discount, you must pay the base camp fee IN FULL prior to the stated deadline. You do not qualify for this discount if you are requesting a scholarship or a payment plan. You do not have to pay for additional things such as camp store money, camp dvd, etc. in order to receive discount. You can add those at a later time if you wish.
Friend Invite Discount: For each friend you invite to camp who has not attended before, you will receive $40 off your registration. There is no limit to the amount of friends you can invite. You can also choose to transfer this money to a sibling's or friend's account in order to help them attend camp! The invited person(s) must register for you to receive the discount.
Scholarship Applications: Applications for financial assistance must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to your camp session in order to be considered.
Registration Cutoffs: Due to the necessity of finalizing details before each camp session begins, the Thursday before each session begins will be the last day to register for that session or make changes (online, by mail, fax, or phone) to your cabinmate requests. Registrations and new/updated cabinmate requests will not be accepted after the Thursday before each camp session begins.
The Friday before each camp session begins is the final day to purchase a picture or dvd before check-in. If you miss the Friday deadline, you will still have the opportunity to purchase a picture or dvd when you arrive for check-in. Cell Phones/Electronics: We do NOT allow cell phones or other electronics at camp! Many cell phones do not work up here anyway. If a camper is found to have any form of electronics, we will immediately confiscate them and store them in our office until camp ends.
Fighting/Bullying: Nothing ruins camp faster than the camp bully. Those caught actively fighting or bullying will immediately meet with our Program Director, a call home will be made, and depending on the severity of the circumstance, may be sent home immediately. If another camper is injured as a result of the intentional actions of another person, the offending camper will go home immediately. No refund will be granted.
Inappropriate Behavior: Any other form of inappropriate behavior is subject to our three strike policy. (1st Time) The camper will be given a warning from their counselor or a staff member, and the incident will be documented. (2nd Time) Any repeated behavior or combination of inappropriate actions will result in a meeting with our Program Director, and a call home will be made. (3rd Time) Any behavior that leads to a 3rd incident which a counselor must resolve will result in the dismissal of the camper immediately. No refund will be granted!
Phone Calls Home: No camper will call home without our first speaking with our Program Director or Executive Director. Any situation which is deemed to warrant a call home will result in one of our Directors first making a call home and speaking with the parent or guardian of the camper, and the matter will be handled from there.
Parents Checking Up On Children: If you for any reason need to reach your child, please call our Main Office at 509-672-4311 and we will deliver a message to your child. Between 6 PM-8 AM, please call 509-945-7725. Please reserve this line for true emergencies!
Parental/Guardian Visitation During Camp: We do not allow parents to visit camp except during the drop-off and pick-up times, with the exception of pre-approved visits for a specific purpose (such as dropping off an item). We have found that despite the best of intentions, parent visits are usually disruptive to their child's (and often other campers) experience at camp. If you have questions or concerns about this policy, we would be happy to speak with you.
Parents who choose to disregard this policy (i.e. show up unannounced just to visit) will be asked to leave the property. For the safety and well-being of the greater camp community, campers of parents who are non-compliant may be dismissed from camp and asked to leave with their parent. If a camper is dismissed from camp due to parental non-compliance with this policy, no refund will be granted for early leave.
Injured/Sick Camper: We have a camp nurse on site for all our programs. If a camper becomes injured or sick, the camp nurse will do the initial assessment and determine the best course of action. If a situation warrants a camper visiting a doctor, hospital or returning home, the camp nurse will communicate with the parent/guardian of the child directly to determine the next steps. Ultimately the decision will ALWAYS be up to the parent of the child.
Lost and Found: We do a lost and found parade at the end of each camp session. Any remaining items will be stored through October after camp ends. After October, all appropriate items are donated to a local charity such as Salvation Army. If you believe you left an item here at camp, feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to locate your items.

We promise to do our absolute best to protect your information and the privacy of you and your child. Under no circumstances will we distribute personal information regarding a child, their attendance at camp, or any other information without proper approval. If a parent calls and wants to know information regarding their child's well-being or any account information we have on file, our office staff will ask a series of security questions before we distribute any information regarding a camper.
All personal information including medical history information, registration information and any incident reports involving a camper are stored securely after each camp session ends.
