Junior Camp is a three-day, four-night camp session for students entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall. Campers can expect to have fun, play games, make friends, and learn about God during their time at Ghormley! They’ll spend their time doing activities such as meadow games, swimming in the pool, and riding the zipline. For more information about the activities offered for Junior Camp, see the list to the right.

We know that for some campers, spending four nights away from home can be a challenge! For more information on how we address homesickness, see: Information on Camper Homesickness
Students entering 6th grade have the option to attend either the Junior or Mid-High sessions. Junior sessions are a day shorter than the Mid-High sessions, have a younger age range, and do not involve any trips from the Ghormley campus. Mid-High sessions are longer, have a broader age range, and include a Lake Day as well as the opportunity to go river tubing. Parents are encouraged to choose the session that best fits their 6th graders’ needs.
